MOBILE, Ala. (BuzzReport) — A coordinated law enforcement operation targeting multiple residences across Mobile resulted in the seizure of significant quantities of illegal drugs and the arrest of an Irvington man, according to the Mobile Police Department.

Investigators executed search warrants early Wednesday morning at three locations: the 1900 block of Dickerson Street, the 600 block of Grant Avenue, and the 7000 block of Grelot Road. Authorities say the operation was part of an ongoing effort to disrupt drug trafficking activity within the city.

During the searches, officers recovered approximately 1,887 grams of crack cocaine and 11,212 grams of marijuana—amounts that police describe as consistent with distribution-level trafficking.

As a result of the investigation, 35-year-old Kendell Gray of Irvington was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Mobile County Metro Jail, where he faces multiple felony charges, including trafficking cocaine, trafficking marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jail records indicate Gray is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday. It remains unclear whether additional suspects may be connected to the case, and authorities have not released further details about the scope of the investigation.

Mobile police say the case underscores their continued focus on identifying and dismantling drug operations that pose a threat to public safety. The investigation remains ongoing.
