Mobile, Alabama (BuzzReport) — A stolen travel trailer was recovered Saturday afternoon after Mobile Police officers responded to a location along Schillinger Road South, leading to the arrest of a 43-year-old man. According to the Mobile Police Department blotter, officers were dispatched at approximately 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2026, to the 200 block of Schillinger Road South following a report involving a stolen travel trailer. When officers arrived, they located the reported stolen trailer and discovered a subject in possession of the property. Police detained the individual without further incident while detectives were called to the scene to continue the investigation. The suspect was identified as James Snowden, 43. Following the investigation at the scene, Snowden was transported to Metro Jail. Snowden is facing a charge of Receiving Stolen Property in the First Degree.
