Grand Bay, AL (BuzzReport) – The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office delivered a significant blow to criminal activity on Tuesday with the arrest of 41-year-old Aaron Michael Meadows at a Grand Bay gas station. Meadows, a primary suspect in a string of burglaries plaguing the county, was apprehended thanks to an alert “Be On The Lookout” (BOLO) order issued by Sheriff Paul Burch. Sheriff Burch confirmed that Meadows was found in possession of a veritable pharmacy of illicit substances, including over 200 prescription drugs and a staggering 44 grams of methamphetamine. This discovery led to immediate charges of trafficking methamphetamine and illegal possession of prescription drugs. “This arrest showcases the dedication and effectiveness of our deputies in keeping Mobile County safe,” declared Sheriff Burch. “Not only have we taken a dangerous individual off the streets, but we’ve also recovered stolen property and are diligently working to return it to its rightful owners.” Authorities have successfully booked Meadows into Metro Jail, where he is currently awaiting further legal proceedings. The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office is confident that this arrest will significantly disrupt the flow of illegal drugs and deter future burglary attempts in the region.
