Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) — A significant narcotics and firearms investigation culminated Thursday morning when the Mobile Police Department Narcotics and Vice Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1100 block of Belvedere Circle West. Investigators identified the target of the operation as Trayveun Goff, 24. Goff and his girlfriend, Tenya Knight, 22, were detained at the scene without incident and transported to the Metro Jail for booking as the investigation continued. During the search, officers reported seizing a large quantity of suspected marijuana and multiple firearms, along with items commonly associated with drug distribution. Authorities said the scope of the seizure points to an ongoing trafficking operation rather than personal use. Formal charges are expected to include multiple felony counts related to drug trafficking, illegal possession of firearms, and receipt of stolen property. Investigators said additional charges could follow pending further review of evidence and forensic testing. The Mobile Police Department stated the investigation remains active and encouraged anyone with information related to illegal drug or firearm activity in the area to contact authorities or submit tips anonymously.
