Teen Arrested Following Domestic Dispute That Led to Gunfire in Mobile

Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) — An 18-year-old man has been arrested following a domestic-related incident Wednesday night that left a woman with a minor gunshot injury.

According to authorities, officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Reneke Avenue at approximately 8:30 p.m. on April 15, 2026, in response to a reported domestic complaint. By the time officers arrived on scene, the victim had already left the area and transported herself to a local hospital.

Medical personnel later confirmed that the woman suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot graze wound. Her injuries were described as minor.

During the course of the investigation, officers identified a known suspect connected to the victim and were able to locate him shortly after the incident. He was detained without incident.

Investigators determined that the altercation began when the victim went to the suspect’s residence to retrieve personal belongings. While at the home, a verbal dispute escalated, ultimately leading to the discharge of a firearm.

Authorities arrested Aiden Madyun, 18, in connection to the incident. He was transported to Metro Jail, where he remains in custody as the case continues to be reviewed.

No additional injuries were reported. Police have not released further details at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
