Motorcyclist Dies Following Crash on I-59 in Hattiesburg

Hattiesburg, Mississippi (BuzzReport) — A motorcyclist has died after a crash Wednesday afternoon along Interstate 59 in Hattiesburg, according to authorities.

Emergency crews were dispatched to mile marker 66 on I-59 at approximately 3:30 p.m. on April 15 in response to reports of a serious collision involving a motorcycle. Upon arrival, first responders located the rider with critical injuries.

The motorcyclist was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. Despite medical efforts, the rider later succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
