Two Drivers Hospitalized After Car Crash at Busy Mobile Intersection

Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) — Two men were taken to the hospital Wednesday following a serious two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Houston Street and Government Street, according to the Mobile Police Department.

Police said the collision caused one of the vehicles to flip onto its roof, coming to rest near a power pole, prompting a swift emergency response. Officers with the Mobile Police Department and crews from the Mobile Fire Rescue Department arrived at the scene to assist the injured drivers and secure the area.

Both drivers were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities said the extent of their injuries remains unknown at this time.

The crash led to temporary traffic disruptions as first responders worked to clear the scene and investigate the cause of the collision. No additional details have been released.
