Mobile, AL (BuzzReport)— A disturbing robbery investigation in Mobile has led to the arrest of a 31-year-old man accused of assaulting his own father and stealing property from the family home. According to police, officers responded to the 3700 block of Alta Vista Drive East at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, following reports of a robbery in progress. When officers arrived at the residence, they discovered a male victim who told investigators he had been physically assaulted inside his home by a male suspect. Authorities say the suspect then stole property from the residence before fleeing the scene in the victim’s vehicle. Police say the victim’s son, 31-year-old Brandon Fisher, was found inside the vehicle and identified as the sole occupant. Fisher was taken into custody without incident and transported to Metro Jail, where he now faces charges connected to the robbery investigation. Authorities have not yet released additional details regarding the extent of the victim’s injuries or the specific items allegedly taken from the residence. The case remains under investigation.
