Baldwin County, AL (BuzzReport) — In response to what organizers describe as growing concerns over national events and the current political climate, Indivisible Baldwin County will host a peaceful protest on Sunday, January 11, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the busy intersection of Highway 59 and Highway 98 in Foley. The demonstration aims to bring attention to the case of Renee Nicole Good and to honor “the countless others who have been victimized by this administration,” according to a statement from the group. Organizers say the event is intended not only as a call for justice, but also as a show of community support for those who feel marginalized or fearful in the current moment. Indivisible Baldwin County will be joined by members of the Mobile Bay Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), and the event is open to all who wish to stand in solidarity. “This is about reminding people they are not alone,” organizers said. “Anger, fear, and frustration are understandable—but they can also be transformed into collective action.” In addition to the demonstration, the protest will serve as a donation drive to support local families directly impacted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity. Attendees are encouraged to bring essential items such as household supplies, diapers, baby wipes, powdered milk, and children’s snacks. Monetary donations will also be accepted. Participants are invited to bring signs and chairs, and organizers emphasize that the protest will remain peaceful and community-focused. As conversations about justice, immigration, and accountability continue nationwide, Sunday’s gathering in Foley is expected to draw residents from across Baldwin County who are seeking both a voice and a sense of shared purpose.
