Juvenile Detained in Mobile Following Stolen Vehicle and Bank Card Incident

Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) — A tense confrontation unfolded on Tuesday, after a stolen vehicle drawn from a residential street in the 1200 block of Devander Drive led to the detention of a juvenile suspect. Authorities are now pursuing leads to identify accomplices and determine the full scope of the theft. 

The incident began at approximately 11:30 a.m., when police were dispatched to the scene following a report of a vehicle left unattended but running. The victim, a local resident, informed officers that her bank cards were inside the car at the time.

Officers secured the juvenile without further escalation and transported them to the Strickland Youth Center for processing. Detectives have since taken over the case, emphasizing that the broader investigation remains active.
