Suspect Arrested in Shooting Incident at Brill Road and Dauphin Island Parkway

MOBILE, AL (BuzzReport) – Authorities have apprehended a suspect in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in the early morning hours of Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Jamykhial Spanks, 22, voluntarily surrendered herself to Metro Jail on Monday, October 20, 2025, facing charges of Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle and Menacing.

The incident, which drew a police response at approximately 1:19 a.m., took place at the intersection of Brill Road and Dauphin Island Parkway. Responding officers encountered the victim at the scene, who reported that a known individual discharged a firearm at her vehicle.

While details remain under active investigation, authorities have confirmed that one individual sustained a minor, non-life-threatening injury as a result of debris from the incident. Mobile Fire and Rescue personnel provided on-scene treatment, and the victim’s condition is not considered critical.

Law enforcement officials have stated that the investigation is ongoing, and no additional information will be made public at this time.
