Local Driver Apprehended After Brief Police Chase

Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) – A dramatic scene on Wednesday in Mobile, Alabama, on Tuesday morning when a driver refused to yield to law enforcement. At approximately 9:57 a.m., authorities attempted to pull over a vehicle in the vicinity of Government Boulevard and McVay Drive North due to a traffic violation. However, the driver chose to flee, prompting a short pursuit.

The vehicle chase concluded in the 1200 block of Murray Hill Court, where the driver finally came to a stop. Officers were able to take the individual into custody without incident.

According to reports, 24-year-old Nyeshia Brewster was identified as the driver and subsequently transported to Metro Jail.
