Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) – A 38-year-old Mobile man, Mitchell Revette, was taken into custody on Thursday, June 5, 2025, after a confrontation with law enforcement. According to authorities, officers responded to a call around 12:00 p.m. in the 6000 block of Girby Road. Upon arrival, Revette allegedly made statements suggesting the presence of an explosive device under a vehicle. When officers attempted to intervene, Revette resisted and failed to comply with lawful commands. He was subsequently arrested without further incident. No explosive device was found during the investigation. Revette was charged with failure to obey and resisting arrest, and was transported to Metro Jail.
