Prichard, AL (BuzzReport) -A 22-year-old Prichard police officer is behind bars in Orlando, Florida, after being taken into custody on charges related to the kidnapping of a minor. David Dewayne Cunningham, who served with the Prichard Police Department, is being held at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office jail. According to authorities, Cunningham was classified as a fugitive from justice and was wanted on kidnapping charges stemming from an incident in Harrison County, Mississippi. The alleged incident involved Cunningham and his official police vehicle, prompting law enforcement in Mississippi to issue a “be on the lookout” alert. Cunningham is currently being held in the Orange County jail as the investigation continues.
