Atmore, AL. (BuzzReport) – An arrest has been made in connection with the May 7th incident in Atmore, Alabama. Dexter Adams, 18, of Atmore, was taken into custody after a short foot chase. Adams is wanted for charges related to the May 7th incident, including Attempted Murder, Shooting/Discharging Into an Occupied Vehicle, and Shooting/Discharging into an Unoccupied building.

During the arrest, Adams allegedly grabbed for a weapon and hid it under a nearby shed. The weapon was found to be stolen, leading to additional charges of Attempting to Elude and Receiving Stolen Property Second Degree.

The Atmore Police Department (APD) made the arrest with the help of intelligence from APD Narcotics/Vice. APD states that future arrests are forthcoming with various warrants active at this time.

No information was provided on a court hearing in this case.
