Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) – The recent arrest of 21-year-old Anthony Smiley in connection with a shooting incident off Dog River Drive South has sparked widespread discussion in the community. However, it’s not the arrest itself that’s stirring up controversy, but rather the reaction of a local citizen who used a racial slur to express his feelings about the detainment of the suspect on a local news comment board.

The comment, which has since been widely shared on social media, has sparked outrage among many in the community, who are calling for action to be taken against the individual who made the comment. Felicia Goodman, a local resident, expressed her disgust over the comment, stating, “I think it’s outrageous that he used that term to describe his feelings toward and about the young man. The news station should have taken his comments down immediately and ban him.”

The community is still reeling from the incident, with many calling for greater understanding and respect in the face of adversity. As one resident noted, “America is already dealing with racial hypertension, and adding fuel to the already heated battle against racism is not helping to solve the problem.”

The local news station has yet to comment on the matter, but the incident has sparked a wider conversation about the importance of respectful dialogue and the need to address racism in all its forms.
