Armed Man Accused of Forcing His Way Into Mobile Apartment and Assaulting Woman

MOBILE, AL (BuzzReport) — A domestic incident at a Mobile apartment complex Monday night escalated after police say an armed man forced his way inside an apartment and physically assaulted a woman he knew.

According to the Mobile Police Department, officers were dispatched to Autumn Chase Apartments, 6617 Grelot Road, at approximately 8:14 p.m. Monday, August 17, 2026, following a report of a domestic disturbance.

When officers arrived, they discovered that an armed male subject had allegedly forced his way into an apartment unit.

Investigators determined that the man reportedly confronted a known female victim inside the residence and physically assaulted her.

The circumstances leading up to the confrontation remain under investigation, including the relationship between the individuals, how the suspect gained entry to the apartment and what occurred during the alleged assault.
