DAPHNE, Ala. (BuzzReport) — Authorities in Daphne are asking for the public’s assistance as they search for a suspect accused of stabbing a man multiple times during an early morning incident Wednesday. According to the Daphne Police Department, officers responded to a residence off Adams Avenue at approximately 12:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they discovered a male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. Emergency medical personnel transported the victim to University Hospital, where he is currently being treated in the intensive care unit (ICU). Officials have not released an update on the victim’s condition, and it remains unknown at this time. Investigators have identified Robert Marion, of Daphne, as the suspect in the case. Police say Marion fled the scene before officers arrived, and his whereabouts remain unknown. He is currently being sought by law enforcement in connection with the stabbing. Authorities are urging anyone who has information regarding Marion’s location or the incident to contact the Daphne Police Department at (251) 620-0911. Tips from the public could play a critical role in helping investigators locate the suspect and advance the investigation. The circumstances leading up to the stabbing have not yet been released, and the investigation remains active.
