Mobile Man Arrested After Domestic Dispute Allegedly Turns Violent

MOBILE, Ala. (BuzzReport) — A domestic disturbance at a Mobile residence ended with the arrest of a 37-year-old man after police say a verbal argument escalated into a physical assault over the weekend.

According to the Mobile Police Department, officers responded to the 1000 block of Caroline Avenue at approximately 11:11 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, after receiving reports of a domestic incident.

When officers arrived, they began investigating the circumstances surrounding the disturbance and learned that a male suspect and a woman known to him had become involved in a heated verbal altercation inside the residence.

Investigators say the situation intensified when the man allegedly attempted to prevent the woman from leaving the home. During the encounter, the argument reportedly turned physical.

As officers continued their investigation, they determined the suspect had physically assaulted the victim before police arrived at the scene. Authorities did not release the nature or extent of the victim’s injuries, and no information has been provided regarding whether she required medical treatment.

Following the investigation, police arrested Jared Davis, 37, in connection with the incident. He was taken into custody without further incident and transported to Metro Jail.

The specific charges filed against Davis have not yet been released by authorities.
