Plantation Apartments Homicide Investigation Leads to Arrest in Tillmans Corner

MOBILE, AL (BuzzReport)— Mobile police have announced an arrest in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred earlier this month at Plantation Apartments in Tillmans Corner.

According to the Mobile Police Department, officers responded to Plantation Apartments on Old Pascagoula Road on Monday, June 22, 2026, at approximately 6:35 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived at the apartment complex, they discovered a victim inside one of the apartment units suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, prompting an intensive homicide investigation by Mobile Police detectives.

Authorities have now confirmed that a suspect has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting. Police have not yet released the suspect’s identity or details regarding the circumstances that led to the shooting, and it remains unclear what charges have been filed.

Ty’dre Bright, 19, was arrested and booked into Metro Jail in reference to this case.
