MOBILE, Ala. — A domestic violence incident at a Mobile lounge early Sunday morning resulted in two people being hospitalized and one man being arrested, according to the Mobile Police Department. Officers responded to Soul House Lounge, located at 1869 St. Stephens Road, at approximately 5:18 a.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2026, after receiving reports of a domestic disturbance. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered both a male and a female suffering from minor injuries. Emergency medical personnel transported both individuals to a local hospital for treatment. As investigators worked to determine what led to the altercation, police learned that a known male suspect had allegedly physically assaulted a female victim during the incident. Authorities said the male suspect also sustained injuries during the confrontation. Following the investigation, police arrested 49-year-old Jermaine Wright and transported him to the Mobile County Metro Jail. Wright is facing charges related to the domestic violence incident. Officials have not released additional information regarding the circumstances that led to the altercation or the extent of the injuries sustained by those involved. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional details may be released as the case proceeds through the criminal justice system.
