Upon arriving at the scene, officers determined that a male suspect had allegedly gained entry into the church by entering through a window. Investigators say the suspect then stole property from inside the building before being apprehended. Police identified the suspect as 49-year-old Luchino Hall. Following the investigation, Hall was arrested and transported to the Mobile County Metro Jail, where he was booked on burglary-related charges. The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact the Mobile Police Department. Church burglaries are often especially troubling to congregations, as houses of worship serve as places of faith, community gathering, and outreach.
