Mobile Police Make Fourth Arrest in Deadly O’Donnell Street Homicide

MOBILE, Ala. (BuzzReport) — Mobile Police have announced a fourth arrest in connection with the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old man on O’Donnell Street, marking another significant development in an ongoing homicide investigation that has resulted in multiple murder charges.

According to the Mobile Police Department, Kameron Norwood, 18, has been arrested and charged with murder in the death of Daniel Franklin, 20. Investigators say Norwood is the fourth individual taken into custody in connection with the deadly shooting.

The homicide occurred on O’Donnell Street, where officers responded to reports of gunfire and discovered Franklin suffering from fatal injuries. Despite emergency response efforts, Franklin died as a result of the shooting.

Authorities have not yet released additional details regarding Norwood’s specific role in the incident, but investigators determined there was sufficient evidence to charge him with murder following an extensive investigation.

The arrest comes as Mobile Police continue to build their case surrounding the homicide, which has already led to three previous arrests. Officials have not indicated whether additional suspects remain outstanding or if more charges could be forthcoming.
