Man Hospitalized After Stabbing During Domestic Dispute on Navco Road; Woman Arrested

Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) — A domestic dispute in Mobile Tuesday night escalated into violence, leaving a man hospitalized with multiple stab wounds and a woman arrested, according to police.

Authorities said officers responded to the 900 block of Navco Road on Tuesday, May 27, 2026, at approximately 9:48 p.m. after receiving reports of a domestic complaint.

When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered an adult male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. Police said the injuries were non-life-threatening, but the victim required immediate medical attention and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Investigators determined that the incident began as a verbal altercation between the victim and the suspect before escalating into a physical confrontation.

The suspect was detained at the scene without further incident while officers secured the area. Due to the severity of the incident, a detective responded to continue the investigation and process the scene.

Authorities identified the suspect as 45-year-old Sara Workman. She was later transported to Mobile County Metro Jail following the investigation.

Police have not yet released additional information regarding what led to the dispute or what formal charges Workman may face.
