Monroe County, AL (BuzzReport) —Monroe County Sheriff Tom Boatwright announced the arrests of three individuals tied to multiple burglaries reported across Monroe Countyover the past two months, following what officials described as an extensive investigation by sheriff’s office investigators and deputies.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, investigators arrested Jason Pipkin, Heath Andrew Brown, and Mark Daniel Wiggins in connection with a series of burglary cases that have impacted residents throughout the county.

During the course of the investigation, authorities recovered several thousand dollars’ worth of stolen property. Officials said the items have since been returned to their rightful owners.

Court records show Pipkin has been charged with seven counts of burglary and one count of receiving stolen property. Brown faces one count of burglary. Wiggins has been charged with four counts of burglary, one count of possession of a controlled substance, identified as methamphetamine, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sheriff Boatwright praised the coordinated efforts of Monroe County investigators and deputies who worked the cases.

“This was truly a team effort,” Sheriff Boatwright said. “We have a great group of men and women who work well together and are committed to getting things done for the people of Monroe County.”

The sheriff’s office says it remains committed to protecting the citizens of Monroe County, recovering stolen property, and holding offenders accountable. Authorities are encouraging anyone with additional information related to these investigations to contact the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
