Mobile, Alabama (BuzzReport) — A midday dispute in Mobile escalated into violence Monday, leaving one man injured and another behind bars, according to authorities.

Officers with the Mobile Police Department responded at approximately 12:07 p.m. on April 13, 2026, to a reported assault in the 1400 block of Brooke Avenue. As officers arrived and began assessing the situation, they learned the victim had already left the scene and made his way to another location in the 1400 block of Dauphin Island Parkway.

Police located the male victim shortly afterward and determined he had sustained a minor injury. Emergency responders treated him at the scene, but he declined to be transported to a hospital for further medical care.

Investigators say the violence stemmed from an argument between the victim and a known suspect. During the dispute, the suspect allegedly struck the victim with a metal object, causing the injury.

Authorities identified the suspect as Parome Madison, 31. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to Metro Jail, where he faces charges related to the assault.

The incident remains under investigation as police continue to gather details surrounding the circumstances that led to the confrontation.
