Following candidate presentations and deliberations, ANSA formally announced its slate of endorsements for the May 19, 2026 Primary Election. In the race for the U.S. Senate, ANSA endorsed Everett Wess, while its picks for the Alabama Public Service Commission include James O. Gordon for Place No. 1 and Shelia McNeil for Place No. 2. Additional statewide endorsements include Violet Edwards for State Auditor and former Agriculture Commissioner Ron Sparks for Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries. For the judiciary, ANSA endorsed Ashleigh Dunham for Associate Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court. At the congressional level, Lee McInnis received the endorsement for Alabama’s 3rd Congressional District.
