Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) — A domestic disturbance turned violent Sunday evening, leaving a woman injured and a suspect in custody, according to police. Officers responded to the 200 block of Siena Vista Street on April 12, 2026, at approximately 6:34 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Authorities said the injury was non-life-threatening, and the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Preliminary investigation revealed that the incident stemmed from a domestic altercation. Police say a known male subject physically assaulted the victim before the situation escalated and the victim was shot. The suspect was identified as Julian Trenier, 34. He was taken into custody without further incident and transported to Metro Jail. Officials have not released additional details regarding the circumstances leading up to the shooting or any charges filed. Authorities confirmed the investigation remains ongoing.
