Man Wanted on Aggravated Domestic Violence Charge Considered Armed and Dangerous in Columbus, MS

Columbus, MS (BuzzReport) — Authorities in Columbus are searching for a man accused of violently assaulting his girlfriend during a domestic dispute Tuesday morning.

According to the Columbus Police Department, officers were notified at approximately 8:09 a.m. on March 3, 2026, after a female victim reported she had been physically assaulted by her boyfriend. Details about the extent of her injuries have not been released.

Following an investigation, a warrant was issued for Deandre Dawan Stancil on a charge of aggravated domestic violence.

Police have classified Stancil as armed and dangerous and are urging the public not to approach him. Anyone who sees him or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact law enforcement immediately.
