Chickasaw, Ala. (BuzzReport) — A 21-year-old Chickasaw man has been arrested following an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation, according to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office.

In a news release, the Sheriff’s Office said the investigation began after authorities received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The information prompted deputies to launch an inquiry that ultimately led them to Terrence Kaleb Handy-Jones, 21, of Chickasaw.

Investigators executed a search warrant at Handy-Jones’ residence as part of the probe. Following the search, deputies took him into custody.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Handy-Jones has been charged with five counts of unlawful possession of child pornography and five counts of possession with intent to distribute child pornography.

Authorities said he was transported to the Mobile County Metro Jail, where he has been booked pending further legal proceedings.

The investigation remains ongoing. Officials have not released additional details at this time.
