Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) — A 33-year-old man wanted on an aggravated child abuse charge has turned himself in to authorities, according to the Mobile Police Department.

Police said officers initially responded to a report involving a juvenile who required medical treatment. Due to the age of the victim and the sensitive nature of the case, officials said specific details surrounding the allegations cannot be released at this time.

Following an investigation, an active warrant was issued for Kendall Freeman, 33, on a charge of aggravated child abuse. Authorities stated they were actively working to locate and apprehend Freeman before he surrendered to law enforcement.

Freeman has since been booked into Mobile County Metro Jail.
