Man Arrested After Early-Morning Cutting Incident on Bowie Court

Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) — A 62-year-old man was taken into custody Wednesday morning following a domestic altercation that left a woman with a minor injury, according to police.

Officers with the Mobile Police Department responded to the 1200 block of Bowie Court at approximately 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, after receiving a call reporting a possible cutting. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a female victim suffering from a minor laceration.

Investigators determined that the injury occurred during an argument with a known male subject. Emergency responders treated the victim at the scene, and her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

The suspect, identified as Terence Wheeler, 62, remained at the residence and was detained by officers without incident. He was later transported to Metro Jail for booking.

Police have not released additional details regarding the circumstances leading up to the altercation, and the investigation remains ongoing.
