Millry, AL (BuzzReport) — A swift and coordinated emergency response prevented a residential fire from escalating Tuesday night at a mobile home located at 1314 Koenton–Bladon Springs Road.

Emergency crews were dispatched at 8:12 p.m., with Engine 1 (E1) arriving on scene to find heavy smoke showing from the residence. Firefighters immediately initiated an interior attack, knocking down the main body of the fire in short order. Their rapid action was key in limiting damage and preventing the blaze from spreading further through the structure.
