Mobile, Ala. (BuzzReport) — A late-night burst of gunfire rattled a Mobile neighborhood just after midnight Wednesday, leaving a home damaged but its occupants unharmed. Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Wisconsin Avenue at approximately 12:23 a.m. on December 31, after receiving reports of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found evidence that a residence had been struck by multiple rounds. Authorities confirmed that several people were inside the home at the time of the shooting. Remarkably, no injuries were reported. Investigators secured the scene and began canvassing the area for witnesses and surveillance footage. As of Wednesday morning, no suspects have been identified, and police have not released a motive. The incident remains under active investigation.
