Homicide Investigation Launched After Fatal Shooting in Chickasaw

Chickasaw, AL (BuzzReport) — The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office has opened a homicide investigation following a deadly shooting that occurred Tuesday night in Chickasaw.

According to Sheriff Paul Burch, deputies responded to the area of West Lee Street and Geronimo Street, where they discovered a 39-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.
