Mobile, Ala. (BuzzReport) — A months-long narcotics investigation targeting illegal drug activity along the Dauphin Island Parkway corridor has culminated in a sweeping law enforcement operation that resulted in dozens of arrests, millions of dollars in drugs seized, and a significant disruption to local trafficking networks. According to authorities, the Mobile Police Department’s Narcotics and Vice Unit spent the last three months investigating persistent drug activity in the area. The operation, dubbed “DIP Jingle,” concluded on Thursday, December 18, 2025, following the execution of 12 search warrants with assistance from SWAT, K-9, and multiple support units. By the end of the operation, investigators reported: 32 individuals arrested 3 wanted subjects identified 19 firearms seized 3 vehicles seized $30,642 in U.S. currency confiscated Law enforcement officials say the results reflect the scope and seriousness of the drug trade operating in the area. Major Seizures Highlight Scope of Operation One of the most significant seizures occurred after investigators observed a hand-to-hand drug transaction near the Raceway Gas Station at 3051 Government Boulevard. Following a traffic stop and subsequent search warrant, officers seized a substantial cache of narcotics and weapons, including: $18,184 in cash 7.8 pounds of marijuana 23.75 ounces of cocaine 429 oxycodone pills 12 bottles of codeine Promethazine Fentanyl THC vape pens An AK-style pistol In another notable case, investigators executed a search warrant in the 1300 block of Brooke Street, located near an elementary school. That search resulted in the seizure of large quantities of marijuana, synthetic drugs, cocaine, and prescription pills, along with $5,575 in cash. Authorities emphasized the concern of narcotics activity occurring in close proximity to children and schools. Nearly $230,000 in Drugs Removed From Streets Overall, Operation “DIP Jingle” led to the seizure of drugs with an estimated street value of $227,496, including cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamine, synthetic marijuana, oxycodone, hydrocodone, fentanyl, and other controlled substances. Additionally, forfeiture filings total more than $71,000, including seized currency, vehicles, and firearms. Arrests Span Wide Range of Charges Those arrested face a wide array of charges, ranging from simple possession to drug trafficking, unlawful distribution, probation violations, and violent felony warrants. Several individuals were charged with trafficking cocaine, methamphetamine, synthetic drugs, and opium, while others were arrested on outstanding warrants uncovered during the operation. Officials noted that some suspects were already wanted on serious charges, including robbery, burglary, and probation revocations. Investigation Continues Authorities stressed that Operation “DIP Jingle” remains an ongoing investigation, and additional arrests or charges may follow as evidence is processed and cases move forward. “This operation sends a clear message that illegal drug activity will not be tolerated in our communities,” a law enforcement official stated. “We will continue working to keep dangerous drugs, guns, and criminals off the streets.” Further details will be released as they become available.
