Dead Body Found Inside Biloxi Church on Friday

Biloxi, MS (BuzzReport)— Authorities are investigating after a deceased individual was discovered Friday evening inside Miracle Temple AOH Church of God in Biloxi.

The Biloxi Police Department responded to a call reporting a body at the church shortly before 9:00 p.m. Officers secured the scene and began an initial assessment of the circumstances surrounding the death. Police indicated that there were no signs suggesting foul play. at the moment.

The former pastor Gary Johnson was notified by the Biloxi Police Department around 9:00 p.m. and went to the church shortly thereafter. Upon arriving, he observed an adult male lying on the floor inside the church forum area.

“It’s nothing no one wish to see or happen to anyone, we are praying for the deceased, his family, and the community,” says Pastor Gary Johnson.

The Harrison County Coroner’s Office later confirmed that the individual died of natural causes. Coroner Brian Switzer reported that no suspicious factors were identified during the examination.

Authorities did not release the identity of the deceased, and no additional details were provided regarding the events leading up to the death.
