Montgomery, AL (BuzzReport) – The Montgomery Police Department has filed First Degree Robbery charges against two individuals following a serious incident that disturbed a residential neighborhood late last month. The charges stem from an alleged robbery that occurred in the 3600 block of Gas Light Curve. The incident took place on the morning of November 27, 2025, approximately 10:15 a.m., an unusual time for a high-level felony in the area. Authorities identified and apprehended 19-year-old Jeremy Jerome Franklin, Jr., who now faces one count of Robbery First Degree. A second male, who is a juvenile, was also charged with the same felony offense in connection with the crime. Robbery First Degree is among the most serious theft charges under state law, often indicating the alleged use of a weapon or the threat of force during the commission of the crime. The swift resolution in identifying the two suspects indicates a rapid response and focused investigation by local law enforcement following the morning occurrence. Following their processing, both Franklin and the juvenile male were booked and secured at the Montgomery County Detention Facility. The investigation into the specific details and circumstances of the alleged robbery remains active as authorities continue to gather evidence.
