Mobile Man Critically Wounded in Tuesday Evening Drive-By in Orange Grove Neighborhood

MOBILE, AL – A drive-by shooting in Mobile’s First Court neighborhood on Tuesday evening left a male victim fighting for his life, sending shockwaves through the residential community as police launch a full-scale investigation.

At approximately 6:30 p.m. on October 28, 2025, Mobile Police Department officers responded to the 250 block of First Court after receiving multiple reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, emergency personnel discovered a male suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, where his condition remains critical.

Further investigation at the scene revealed a chaotic picture. According to authorities, gunfire believed to have originated from a passing vehicle not only struck the victim but also penetrated an apartment unit and damaged two unoccupied vehicles parked nearby.
