Investigation police crime scene do not cross yellow tape.

MOBILE, AL – A drive-by shooting in Mobile’s First Court neighborhood on Tuesday evening left a male victim fighting for his life, sending shockwaves through the residential community as police launch a full-scale investigation.

At approximately 6:30 p.m. on October 28, 2025, Mobile Police Department officers responded to the 250 block of First Court after receiving multiple reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, emergency personnel discovered a male suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, where his condition remains critical.

Further investigation at the scene revealed a chaotic picture. According to authorities, gunfire believed to have originated from a passing vehicle not only struck the victim but also penetrated an apartment unit and damaged two unoccupied vehicles parked nearby. Evidence markers dotted the typically quiet street as investigators processed the scene late into the night.

Mobile Police confirmed the investigation is active and rapidly developing.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the shooting, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to contact the Mobile Police Department or leave an anonymous tip. No arrests have been made as of Wednesday morning.
