ROBERTSDALE, AL (BuzzReport)– The Robertsdale Police Department has successfully apprehended a suspect in connection with an alleged child abuse incident that occurred within the aisles of a local Dollar Tree store. Cynthia Jackson, 36, was taken into custody by officers and has been formally charged with willful abuse of a child.

Officials confirmed that the arrest followed a credible report detailing the disturbing incident. According to the information provided by law enforcement, Jackson is accused of striking a young child on more than 15 separate occasions while inside the retail establishment.

The Robertsdale Police Department responded promptly to the report, initiating an investigation that swiftly led to Jackson’s identification and subsequent arrest. The department commends the vigilance of those who brought this serious matter to their attention, emphasizing the importance of community cooperation in protecting vulnerable individuals.

Jackson bail is set at $25,000.
