Fatal Gautier Shooting Claims One Life, Leaves Two Injured; Police Investigation Underway

Biloxi, MS (BuzzReport) – A Saturday evening shooting in Gautier has left one person dead and two others injured, prompting an ongoing investigation by local authorities. Officers from the Gautier Police Department responded to reports of gunfire on Ladnier Road around 6:00 p.m., where they discovered three victims.

Gautier Police Chief David Bever confirmed that one of the victims, initially found in critical condition, later succumbed to their injuries. The identities of the victims have not yet been released as the investigation is still in its preliminary stages.

Upon arrival at the scene, first responders located the three individuals. Two of the victims reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital. The third victim, critically wounded, was also transported but later pronounced deceased.

Chief Bever stated that officers are actively investigating the shooting. Authorities have not yet released any information regarding potential suspects, a motive for the attack, or the sequence of events that led to the violence.
