MOBILE, AL (BuzzReport)– A investigation by the Mobile Police Department led to the apprehension of a juvenile suspect in connection with a burglary at GCO Supply early Monday morning. Officers were dispatched to the business, located at 1568 Leroy Stevens Road, at approximately 6:55 a.m. following a report of a burglary. Upon arriving at the scene, responding officers met with the victim, who stated that a quantity of items had been stolen from the premises without authorization. During their initial on-site investigation, officers observed distinct dolly tracks leading away from the business. Following these tracks proved to be a crucial investigative step, as they ultimately led officers to a nearby residence. Authorities were able to detain a juvenile suspect at the residence without further incident. The juvenile was subsequently transported to Strickland Youth Center for further processing and investigation. The Mobile Police Department has not yet released details regarding the specific items stolen or the juvenile’s identity, citing the ongoing nature of the investigation and the age of the suspect.
