Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) – A violent altercation at a prominent Mobile residential complex on Wednesday afternoon resulted in one man being hospitalized with stab wounds and another taken into custody. The incident, which unfolded at Central Plaza Towers on Bay Shore Avenue, saw a swift police response and the apprehension of a suspect.

At approximately 4:48 p.m. on October 8, 2025, law enforcement officers converged on 304 Bay Shore Avenue, responding to reports of a cutting. Upon arrival at the Central Plaza Towers, emergency personnel located a male victim suffering from injuries consistent with a knife attack. The victim’s condition was assessed as non-life-threatening, and he was promptly transported to a local hospital for urgent medical attention.

A preliminary investigation quickly uncovered the circumstances surrounding the assault. Authorities determined that the victim had been cut with a knife following a dispute with another male resident. The investigation rapidly identified a person of interest in connection with the incident.

Following further inquiries and evidence gathering at the scene, officers arrested 41-year-old Henry McGhee. McGhee was subsequently transported to Metro Jail, where he faces charges related to the assault. The precise nature of the altercation that precipitated the stabbing remains under investigation.
