Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) – A quiet pre-dawn Tuesday was shattered by the sound of gunfire on Dauphin Island Parkway, ultimately leading to a high-speed pursuit and the apprehension of three young men. Mobile Police Department officers, on routine patrol around 1:30 a.m., reported witnessing multiple firearms being discharged in the vicinity of Dauphin Island Parkway and Zula Lane.

Upon observing the suspicious activity, officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a vehicle they believed to be involved. However, the driver reportedly ignored the activated audible sirens and flashing blue emergency lights, instead accelerating rapidly away from the scene.

A brief but intense vehicle pursuit followed, with officers tracking the fleeing vehicle until it came to a stop near the intersection of Highway 90 and Kooiman Road. All three occupants were taken into custody without further incident.

During the subsequent search of the vehicle, officers discovered a quantity of prescription liquid that did not belong to any of the detained individuals. The arrested parties have been identified as Willie Goff, 20, Tomorian Williams, 19, and Rodney Davis, 19. All three have been transported to the Metro Jail, where they await booking and further investigation.

Details surrounding the initial gunfire remain unclear, and authorities have not yet released information regarding the type of firearms involved or the nature of the target. The presence of the prescription liquid is also under active investigation and could potentially add to the charges faced by the arrestees.

The investigation into the alleged discharge of firearms and the discovered prescription medication is ongoing. Further updates will be provided as they become available.
