Choctaw County, AL (BuzzReport) – Local law enforcement in Choctaw County has been active over the past week, resulting in the arrest of four individuals on a range of charges, from probation revocations for serious past offenses to drug possession and outstanding warrants. The string of arrests underscores ongoing efforts by authorities to uphold judicial orders and maintain public safety.

Among those taken into custody was Chavantay Cortez Davis, arrested on August 28, 2025. Davis faces a probation revocation stemming from an original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. This arrest indicates a alleged violation of the terms of his previous sentence, bringing him back into the judicial system for review of his compliance.

Just days later, on September 1, 2025, Caleb Austin Roach was apprehended, also for a probation revocation. Roach’s original charge, Burglary 1st Degree, is a serious felony, and his return to custody will likely involve a court hearing to determine the nature of the violation and potential consequences. Both Davis’s and Roach’s arrests highlight the strict oversight of individuals serving probation for past criminal acts.

In a separate incident on August 31, 2025, Glenn Jones was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree. This charge typically refers to possession of a smaller quantity of marijuana, but remains a criminal offense in Alabama.

Rounding out the recent arrests was Dominic Holt, who was taken into custody on September 2, 2025, for Failure to Pay. This charge originated from the city of Thomasville, often resulting from outstanding fines, court costs, or traffic-related penalties that have gone unpaid, leading to an active warrant for arrest.

All arrested individuals are currently awaiting further legal proceedings, where they will have the opportunity to address the charges brought against them.
