Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) – A local man was swiftly apprehended and taken into custody Wednesday morning after an unprovoked attack saw him throw a wine bottle at a moving police vehicle, causing significant damage. The incident unfolded at approximately 9:09 a.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, when officers were conducting routine patrol in the area of Dauphin Street and Pierpoint Drive. Without warning, an individual hurled a wine bottle directly at their police vehicle. The impact caused considerable damage to the police cruiser. Officers immediately initiated a response, quickly detaining the subject, identified as 29-year-old Dynnie Prince, without further incident. Prince was transported to Metro Jail following the altercation. No officers were reported injured in the incident.
