Atmore, AL. (BuzzReport) – Earlier Tuesday, a joint operation by local and federal agencies resulted in the arrest of six individuals with dangerous criminal histories. The Gulf of America Homeland Security Task Force, comprising agents from the FBI, U.S. Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and other state and local law enforcement agencies, carried out multiple traffic stops and detainments to enforce immigration laws. The operation is part of a broader effort to crack down on illegal immigration and crime in the area. Those arrested had charges ranging from kidnapping to homicide, according to authorities. This enforcement action underscores the task force’s commitment to public safety and dismantling criminal enterprises that endanger communities. Similar operations have taken place in recent months in Alabama, including a June 24 raid at a Gulf Shores high school construction site, where 36 individuals were arrested, with 20 having prior criminal records.
