Mobile, Alabama (BuzzReport) – A shooting incident occurred Thursday night in downtown Mobile, in the vicinity of Ann Street and Congress Street. Police officers responding to the area shortly after 7 p.m. found a man suffering from a gunshot wound described by the Mobile Police Department (MPD) as “severe” but not life-threatening. The victim was promptly transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The MPD has an active investigation ongoing into the shooting. At this time, no additional details regarding the incident are being released by the police. The incident is under investigation by the Mobile Police Department.
