Spanish Fort Man Arrested on Felony Child Sexual Abuse Material Charges

SPANISH FORT, AL (BuzzReport) – A Spanish Fort man has been arrested and charged with four counts of possession of child sexual abuse material, a Class C felony, following a three-month investigation by the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office.

Ty Cole Davisson, 27, was taken into custody after a search warrant executed at his residence uncovered electronic devices containing illicit material.

The investigation was initiated by a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), which was subsequently relayed to the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies with the Investigative Support Division then launched an extensive probe spanning several months.

According to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office, the sustained investigation culminated in the execution of a search warrant at a property in the 13000 block of Antler Hill Road in Spanish Fort. During the search, investigators located electronic devices that contained images and videos depicting child sexual abuse.

Davisson was identified as being in control of the found devices and was subsequently arrested without incident. He faces four felony counts, each classified as a Class C felony under Alabama law.

The case remains under investigation by the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office.
