NAACP McComb Branch Condemns Grand Jury Decision in Trumaine White Case

McComb, MS (BuzzReport)— The NAACP McComb Branch has issued a strong condemnation of the recent grand jury decision not to indict any members of the Amite County Sheriff’s Department in the case surrounding the in-custody death of Trumaine White. White, a 41-year-old Black man, died while under the care of law enforcement in October 2024, prompting widespread calls for accountability and justice.

The NAACP McComb Branch has been actively involved in this case from the outset, standing alongside White’s family in their pursuit of truth and justice.
